Cybertech Back Brace Review

Do you suffer from chronic lower back pain? I used to have chronic pain from injuries that I received in my youth. I was starting to work on my reading and was in the read as many relevant dummies books phase. In that time, I ordered the Back Pain Remedies For Dummies book. Dr. Sinel and Dr. Deadorff are life savers. The book review is for another post. This one is about their recommended back brace. The Cybertech back brace is the best $45 investment that I have ever made. The first time that I tightened it I broke out in a sweat. Now I am to the point where it feels like wearing socks. At work is where it is the most useful. If you work at a desk all day and the chairs have little to no back support. You might want to consider this brace. The brace has two pieces of Velcro to hold it, the main one on the back and a small one that wraps around half of your waist and attaches to the front of your belly. What makes this brace unique is the to plastic bars that are on the back. The bars rest on both sides of your lower spine, improving your posture and making you feel amazing.

Master Class Review

“If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants,” Isaac Newton. What if you could learn from the best in the world? What would you do with that kind of power? Well, I am here to let you know that Master Class is amazing, I signed up for one year of full access for $180, and it is all that I want to do. These so-called masters are some of the most interesting people that one will ever encounter. Whether it is, Malcolm Gladwell explaining, why Goliath said “Come to me;” before he died. Or David Mamet, showing you how to be dramatic you will be hooked right away. So far, I have finished these courses Malcolm Gladwell, James Patterson, Steve Martin, Judy Blume, and David Mamet. I am currently working on R.L. Stine, DeadMau5, and Hellen Mirren’s courses. I plan to watch all of them because so far, each one of them has given me a significant amount of wisdom and understanding.

Liberate Your Muscles | Foam Roller Review

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to get a massage every day? The luxury of having daily pressure applied to your tight muscles is only $15 away. This post is going to be a review of six inches in diameter foam rollers. Honestly, everyone should own one of these because of all the sitting that we do. I got mine because of chronic back problems, but I use it every day no matter what. It is amazing before and after workouts, and after long days at the office too. Ha-ha, the first time that I used it my back cracked twice, and a rowdy gas was released.

The decent diameter also makes it perfect for any part of the legs. I constantly tear my left adductor (inner thigh), and the edge of the roller always hits my pain points. For my fellow IT folks that need more cardio and leg days in their life, this product will make your health is that much more accessible. Since you can easily roll your hamstrings and calves after you shock them with exercise.

Ketones Review

“You are about to live a life that few people have ever lived.” (Limitless). I am going to review the liquid and the solid ketone supplements by Keto Sport. I first heard about keystones from Tim Ferris yes, the Oprah of the Internet, particularly the podcast with Dom D’Agostino. Before I get into the review here is why I use ketones. The amazing mental clarity is up there with eating high-quality salmon, and I take advantage of it when I’m studying for a certification or trying to speed through a book.

Now I do I claim to be a chemist mostly everything that I know is from said podcast. Ketones are an alternative source of fuel for your body; you can fast and not feel the effects of it by taking ketones. Doing this starves cancer cells and puts the body in a state of ketosis. It’s the closest thing to the limitless pill that’s out there people. I get both products on Amazon, and I have to say that I prefer the powder over the liquid just because of taste.

I mix the keytone powder with MCT and coconut powder in a blender bottle and use it as a meal replacement for the last eight hours of my day. Here is the solid stack it tastes amazing, and it lights you up light a Christmas tree right away. If you dieted correctly or prepared your body with MCT oil and fatty food. The best thing one can do is look up ketogenic meals.

I use the liquid whenever I need a pick me up, but the taste is not that great. What I do is take a shot of two keytone caps mixed with an equal amount of lime juice. Caution this is the only good tasting mix out there. You must watch your diet if you want to get the full effects. Try to minimize carbs and protein. If I do eat any, I eat them in the morning using fish as my protein source. Then throughout the day, I will drink two cups of hot Jocko Tea with MCT oil.

MCT oil uses your bodies fat as energy and boosts your ketosis. Careful here grasshoppers; if you take too much of this, you will be glued to the toilet. Mix one tablespoon with coffee or tea and see what it does before you start taking more. Avoid taking straight tablespoons of MCT oil. Also try to eat salads and dairy products before taking your ketones, to get the most bang for your buck. I hope that this post answered some of your questions, and helped you consider the keto lifestyle.

New Mood by ONNIT Review | Deep Sleep

Shawn Stevenson has broken down the science of sleep and why getting deep sleep is the best thing that you can do for your body. Thus this is going to be a review of New Mood by ONNIT. I have been on this product for a week now. The serving size is one or two capsules per day. The first two days I took two capsules, moderation is not my strong point. I must say that these are some potent nootropics. Those first two days I was only able to sleep five hours which hindered me more than it helped me. After those early two days failed, I went down to one capsule right before bed. The first two nights with one pill I slept seven hours to recover. The next three I was able to sleep for six hours, and I felt amazing.

Usually, my body requires seven hours of sleep for me to function properly. Now I am not one of those people that use being sleep deprived as a badge of honor. One must realize that sleep is a necessary evil, and everybody has their own baseline that they have to hit. I needed to improve my sleep quality because at the time of this post I was working a night shift. Working nights messes with one’s circadian rhythm, which is our internal sleep clock.  Try falling asleep at 7 AM, after driving in brilliant sunlight for twenty minutes it is not easy! This product is going to be a permanent part of my stack now; I just wanted to share my experience with it.

This is a one month update. ONNIT is on it with their products. I was working the night shift about a year ago for six months, and at least once a week my sleep schedule would get messed up. With New Mood, my sleep schedule only gets out of wack once a month while on the night shift. Usually, it is due to an appointment or if I do something stupid like lifting too heavy at the gym or drinking a sugary drink in the night. When I sleep in or can’t go to sleep I will take an extra pill to get my sleep back on track.

Audible Review & How-To

“According to a study done by the Harvard Health Watch, an average American spends 101 minutes per day driving. That means that in a lifetime, an average Joe spends a whopping 37,935 hours driving a car (assuming that s/he starts driving at 17 and drives until 78.7 years old).” Imagine what would happen if one spent all this time learning? In that respect, this is going to be a review of Audible along with a how-to on how to get the most bang for your buck. I have been using Audible for a little over three years now, and I have to say it is incredible. Audible has a wide variety of books, but most importantly you can listen at three times the average speed. For all of you knowledge hoarders out there this is going to be the deal maker. I listen to Audible whenever I have to drive by myself when I am doing chores, and during my stretches at the gym that’s it, and I steam through books. You can use Audible on primarily all your mobile devices and your status is synced across all of them on the Amazon cloud. At the time of this post, Audible has over 100,000 audiobooks, so no matter what your cup of tea is you will be able to find it here.

Below is a table with Audible’s current plans, one credit will get you one audiobook at any price:

Plan Cost # of Credits Cost per credit
Gold Monthly $14.95 per month 1 per month $14.95
Platinum Monthly $22.95 per month 2 per month $11.48
Gold Annual $149.50 per year 12 per year $12.46
Platinum Annual $229.50 per year 24 per year $9.57

I will be getting the Platinum Annual plan after this post. I have been on the gold monthly plan, and what I would do is get the three extra credits for $35.88 or $11.96 per credit. Of course, which plan you get will depend on your consumption. What I would recommend is to buy expensive and lengthy books, that way they last longer, and you get a more significant discount. Here is what I was about to do before I knew about the twenty-four-credit annual plan. I was going to get these three books for $68.60 Steve Jobs, Trading in The Zone, and Einstein with the $35.88 bundle that would save me $32.72. Now if I had the twenty-four-credit package that would be $28.71 for three books saving me $39.89. That is more than 50% off. If you shop smart, you can get $229.50, worth of audiobooks from Amazon for free. Now, this is not some epic hack Jeff Bezos is a genius, and his team is top notch they know what they are doing and how much money is and will be lost through this. The company knows that it can have some negative margins so that the competition can’t afford to compete.
